I am pleased to announce an extra credit opportunity for all AP United States History, IB Contemporary History, and IB History of the Americas students. On Thursday, 8 November, an old graduate school colleague of mine and Florida historian and archivist Johnathan Grandage will be delivering a lecture on the Great Depression in Florida. The lecture will be at 5:30 at the Knott House museum, and will be free. There will also be a tour of the house and refreshments. Extra credit will be earned if the student attends the talk, checks in with me afterward, and turns in a one page summary of the lecture by the next day.
